Thank you, Benjy Egel, Kate Washington and SacBEE for your kind words. We feel everyone's joy and everyone's pain. We were fortunate to be listed in this year’s guide, and, in the spirit of a rising tide lifting all boats, we’re focusing our attention on earning that star next year!
Congratulations to The Kitchen’s Executive Chef Kelly McCown on winning Sacramento’s first Michelin star! Congratulations also to Canon, Frank Fat’s and Mother, each of which earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand. And finally, thank you Michelin Guide for the l'Assiete Michelin designation for Localis and nine other Sacramento restaurants: Allora, Bacon & Butter, Binchoyaki, Ella Dining Room and Bar, Grange, Tequila Museo Myahuel, Ming Dynasty, Mulvaney's B&L and Zócalo.
