Aldon's Leafy Greens is a Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) located at the Urban Art Farm in Fair Oaks, CA. We use their nutrient dense lettuces, micro-greens and herbs that are often on your plate within hours of harvest. We especially appreciate their emphasis on giving back to our community with food contribution and education.
Azolla Farm, located twenty miles from Sacramento in Pleasant Grove, is a farm built on a shared passion for local food, hard work, and a commitment to organic farming practices and ethical land stewardship. They grow many varieties of heirloom tomatoes, a variety of other high quality produce, and some rare edible greens we love.
Delta Farm, LLC provides us with sustainably-raised, pastured meat. Stewards of the land, the farm strives to limits its impact on the farm’s landscape. Nesting boxes encourage the local population of bats, owls and hawks to control pests naturally. Composting recycles waste back out into the pastures, enriching the land naturally.
The Emigh family has been raising sheep and cattle in the Rio Vista and Dixon areas for five generations. They began direct-marketing Emigh Lamb Co. meat in 2011, personally delivering their lamb to local restaurants and butcher shops. They raise Rambouillet/Suffolk cross lambs, fed on green feed, creating the best quality lamb around.
Operated by Tim Rohrer, a Polyface Appretice, Full Barn Farms is an agriculture cooperative specializing in pastured meats and land regeneration. Hank’s Hens and All Things Good is a two-acre homesteading operation in Rio Linda. Blessed with rich soil, the farm raises hens and grows produce including fruit and herbs.
