The Emigh family has been raising sheep and cattle in the Rio Vista and Dixon areas for five generations. They began direct-marketing Emigh Lamb Co. meat in 2011, personally delivering their lamb to local restaurants and butcher shops. They raise Rambouillet/Suffolk cross lambs, fed on green feed, creating the best quality lamb around.
The historic Petaluma Creamery makes 100% organic cheese using the highest quality milk, and produced in ways that are respectful of animals and land. Llano Seco is a 150-year-old, 6th-generation family farm on the edge of the Sacramento River. They are known for responsibly raising livestock, growing heirloom crops, and environmental stewarding of over 17,000 acres in conservation and agriculture easements. We think they produce the finest pork available locally.
